This December was packed full of celebration and wonderful memories. We started off the month with my best friends wedding so I'm posting a few more pics of us from my camera that was lost for a week or two. Then we traveled to Olympia, WA for one of Lance's buddies wedding the following weekend. We also were able to celebrate Christmas with Lance's brother and sister-in-law and our nephew before they left to spend the holiday in Memphis. Next, Lance's Papa, who lives in Vegas, came to visit us on the 22nd. He is always wonderful "Mr. Fix-It." My parents drove into town the 23rd to spend Christmas Eve and and early Christmas morning with us...well, mostly for their grandson. =) Christmas Eve we went over for our 3rd annual feast Bona Caulda at the Atwood household. It was DELICIOUS!! Christmas morning we opened presents at our house with my parents before driving up to Olympia to Lance's parents place to spend the rest of the weekend. Its amazing when you have a child all the plans you are willing to make to ensure everyone gets to celebrate with him. =) So all in all, the month has just flown by!!
Rowdy has already celebrated his 4 month birthday! Last time being weighed he was just under 16 lbs...he definitely loves his mamma's milk. He is just a ball of joy. He is just like his daddy who was affectionately called "Lance with ants in his pants." Rowdy is VERY active. He is getting SO close to rolling over from his back to his stomach. He rolls up on his sides and then back to his back. Any day now. Rowdy has also started to discover his feet. He tries to reach for them but can only reach the bottom of his pant legs, we say due to short arms like his mamma and a big ol' belly its hard to get all the way to the toes. He is a GREAT sleeper...sleeping about 8 hours each night and then gets up to eat and sleeps for another couple. Rowdy is just a joyful baby, we have no complaints and frankly are slightly nervous for children to come...we joke that you can't win the lottery twice! =) He brings a smile to all who come in contact with him...and we get comments all the time about his perfectly round, beautifully bald head. =)
We hope that your holiday season treated you well and from our family to yours we hope that 2010 will bring you joy and happiness!!
Loved your December update and feel so fortunate that we got to be at so many of your celebrations with you!
